Postmen to deliver their letters to in form Gor Mahia at Nyayo

The round 13 of SportPesa Premier League (SPL) game involving Posta Rangers and Gor Mahia has been moved back to the Nyayo National Stadium.

Rangers, had initially failed to secure Nyayo Stadium with the facility’s management citing security fears in hosting the match on Sunday.

The hosts had subsequently announced that the game would be staged at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru.

However, a communique from the SPL secretariat confirms the clash will be played in the capital.

“Kindly note that the Posta Rangers-Gor Mahia Round 13 match will now be played at the Nyayo National Stadium, and not the Afraha Stadium as communicated yesterday. This is after the facility owners allowed the home team to use the ground on Sunday, 28 May 2017. Kick off time remains 3 PM,” the statement notes.

The clash will be one of the highlight matches of the weekend, with three points separating the teams – Rangers in fourth place with 23 points while Gor is top with 26 points.
