PS Oluga Calls for Teamwork to Strengthen Healthcare Service Delivery

In a move to strengthen healthcare service delivery, Principal Secretary for Medical Services, Dr. Ouma Oluga, today convened a familiarization meeting with the heads of administrative units within the State Department for Medical Services.

The meeting, held at the Ministry’s headquarters, served as a platform for the PS to engage with key departmental leaders and gain insight into the critical administrative functions that support the Ministry of Health’s contribution to the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).

Dr. Oluga emphasized the pivotal role that administrative leadership plays in ensuring the effective implementation of health services across the country.

He urged the team to embrace a culture of shared responsibility, discipline and unwavering commitment.

“Let’s support each other and form a functional, results-driven unit. Work has started, we must move with speed and purpose,” he stated.

The Principal Secretary called for synergy among departments, encouraging a collaborative and efficient approach to achieving the Ministry’s goals.

He further assured the team that all available resources will be harnessed to deliver on the Ministry’s obligations and meet the expectations of Kenyans.
