PSG Face Angers At French Cup Finals

PSG beat  Monaco at  semi-finals to reach  the French Cup Finals.

PSG ousted the in-form Monaco with a 5 goal stunner to qualify to meet Angers in the French Cup Finals.

Abdou Diallo forced Alphonse Areola into an excellent save to his right with a header on 20 minutes, but the floodgates opened for PSG once Morgan De Sanctis gifted Draxler the opening goal.

Cavani found the target by sloting Di Maria’s pass into the far corner to make it two for PSG.

An own goal from Mbae as a result of Argentgine Winger Di Maria’s good delivery escalated  Monaco’s problems and Di Maria proved his salt by setting up the french international Matuidi as he turned in the fourth two minutes later.

Marquinhos swept in a fifth after Maxwell’s drive hit Matuidi and dropped invitingly into the Brazilian’s path and PSG will now fancy their chances of landing a record 11th French Cup title.

Angers reached the final for the first time in 60 years after a 2-0 home win over Guingamp on Tuesday. They will face PSG in finals.
