President William Ruto has been vocal on him working with opposition leader Raila Odinga now and even in times before his presidency stating that they have had a long history of working together.
The President declaration underscores Ruto’s dedication to national development and his openness to collaboration for the country’s progress.
“I have no issue with working with the opposition leader as long as Kenya develops,” stated President Ruto.
President Ruto took to the streets of Kondele and Nyabondo, engaging with enthusiastic crowds eager to hear from him. He extended his gratitude to the residents of Kondele for their warm welcome, noting his surprise at the positive reception compared to previous visits.
“The last time I was here, you guys weren’t so nice,” Ruto said as he laughed along with the crowd.
Accompanied by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, who also spoke at the event, echoed Ruto’s message of unity and development questioning the opposition to the new alliance.
“I don’t see why anyone would be in opposition of the new found alliance between my boss and the esteemed Raila Odinga when all they want is to push the development agenda forward,” reiterated DP Gachagua.
Raila and Ruto had joined hands to form the broad-based government whereby some Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) members were appointed into Kenya Kwanza admnistration as cabinet secreatries.
