Raila Closing In On Uhuru In Recent Polls

Opposition Chief Raila Odinga is quickly closing on President Uhuru Kenyatta ahead of August polls.

The two are only five percentage points apart in the presidential contest, a new survey shows.

The survey also found that 71 per cent Kenyans believe the country is headed in the wrong direction.

Fifty two per cent Jubilee supporters and 92 per cent of NASA were of this opinion. Most respondents cited the hight cost of living.

Ipsos reported that 45 per cent Kenyans feel closest to Jubilee Party and 41 per cent to the National Super Alliance.

Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta have all been cleared to contest for the top seat by IEBC
