Jose Mourinho was seen waiting for Mesut Ozil in the tunnel before Arsenal vs Man United at the Emirates on Sunday.
Ozil and Mourinho won the La Liga title together during their three years at Real Madrid, both joining the club in 2010 and departing in 2013.
Despite their relationship becoming fractured over the course of their time at Real Madrid, the two have since become extremely close friends after moving to the Premier League.
In a short video shared on Arsenal’s twitter account, Jose Mourinho was spotted ‘patiently waiting’ by the tunnel, before appearing to ask for Ozil’s handshakes as a sign of recognition for the Arsenal superstar.

Last month Arsenal superstar Mesut Ozil emerged as a target for Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho who wanted a reunion with the German international next season at Old Trafford.
Many believe Ozil has never returned to the form he showed at the Bernabeu but it’s clear that Mourinho still maintains huge respect for the German playmaker.
The Red Devils manager was even seen biding his time in the Emirates tunnel on Sunday afternoon to wait for his former Madrid player.
Mourinho let Kieran Gibbs, Danny Welbeck and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain pass by before greeting the 28-year-old Arsenal midfielder as they walked out onto the turf.
