Red Bull Kenya is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for Kenyan adventure enthusiasts to compete in the Red Bull Ibiza Royale – a one-of-a-kind, mixed-gender obstacle race at the iconic Ibiza Castle in Spain from April 7-9, 2025.
This prestigious event will see teams from around the world battling it out in a high-energy, action-packed contest.
The Red Bull Ibiza Royale will bring together 200 mixed-gender teams from 50 countries, all vying for a spot in the legendary Ibiza Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Competitors will face a series of mind-bending obstacles that test speed, strength, balance, and reaction time. From daring climbs and unexpected tumbles to feats of agility, the race promises to challenge the very limits of the participants, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Ibiza’s historic Old Town.

Anyone over the age of 18 is eligible to apply and be part of this global showdown.
To enter, participants must:
- Form a mixed-gender team of two.
- Register for a qualifying challenge – either online or at a local qualifier.
- Complete the qualifier challenge, where you’ll face a series of physical and mental tasks designed to test your
- teamwork and endurance.
- Submit a one-minute video showcasing your energy, creativity, and teamwork. This video will be key to your selection, as it will demonstrate why your team deserves to race in Ibiza.
Local Qualifiers in Kenya
The local qualifiers in Kenya are ongoing until February 26, 2025, and will provide Kenyan teams with the chance to showcase their skills before heading to the international stage.

Once the local qualifier challenge is completed, selected teams will submit their video to be considered for the main competition.
The deadline to apply is February 28, 2025.
