RESIDENTS TO STOP A PROPOSED PROJECT BY SAFARICOM .

Residents leaders of redhill in limuru want to stop a proposed project by safaricom and developer seeking change of user from agricultural to industrial.The leaders want the project stopped because they are not given the right information to make the discussions.Njoki Wanaina said that the project should be put in a secured area not in the middle of an agricultural area.Njoki said that a lot of information  is not disclosed about the impact of electromagnetic in the lives of people.She also added that it will have a health impact. The chairman David Kariuki said they want to know what steps they will take towards addressing those concerns.He said the issued should be addressed to the relevant institutions.Edwin from NEEMA denied the allegations and said that the place is very good,the micro climate in the area is good and the land is very critical.They were speaking at bustan garden in limuru after a public participation.
