RUGBY WORLD CUP: Defending champions New Zealand top of Pool B

Defending world champions New Zealand are on course to defend their title after securing a convincing 71-9 win against Namibia to go top of Pool B with 14 points 4 points ahead of South Africa who are placed second with 10 points same as third-placed Italy.

Hosts Japan are at the helm of Pool A with 14 points ahead of pool favourites Ireland. France 23-21 win against Tonga ensured they sit second in Pool C with 13 points,1 point behind pool leaders England. 2015 finalist Australia top Pool D with 11 points ahead of wales who have 9 points.

South Africa are set to play Canada in their final pool match on Tuesday as New Zealand play Italy on Saturday 12th October at the Toyota stadium. Wales play Fiji on Wednesday as England take on France on Saturday 12th from 11:15 am.
