Sam Were Were has been confirmed as the Kenyatta University Students Association (KUSA) president following the recent elections.
Were won with landslide votes beating his fierce rival Ken Mutua, Secretary General in the former 2015/2016 students government.

The former Gender secretary, Doreen Mwenda, has joined Were Were in students executive after she won the Deputy President while the contreversialMadungu Francis, who almost faced charge due to her campaign strategy was elected the finance secretary beating Francis Kibet.
