Sonko’s adopted child joins Lenana school

Gift Osinya has joined Lenana National school after excelling marvelous in 2016 Kenya Certificate of Primary School.

Osinya rose to fame when he rescued his younger brother Satrin during a terror attack in which their mother was brutally murdered.

The academia, Gift, scored an A Plain in 2016 KCPE and his dreams kept coming to reality when he was officially enrolled at Lenana School in form one.

““ Today, I can say I’m a very proud father, Gift Osinya has scored a mean grade of A. Total marks 399 as follows; A in English (77 marks), A in Kiswahili (85 marks), A in Mathematics (87 marks), A in Social studies (77 marks) and B in Science (73 marks),” Sonko earlier shared in a long Facebook congratulatory post.

After the attack on a Mombasa church in 2014, Michael Mbuvi Sonko, the Nairobi Senator, adopted the child with his brother.

“We pray that the Almighty God continue to bless him and may this be the beginning of a successful academic journey,” Sonko said in his Facebook Post.

“It is also my sincere prayers to the Almighty to open ways for those who did not get an opportunity to qualify for form one admission for failure in exams as it is not a failure in life”.
