The church has called on leaders in the country to stop the debate on which type of economy should be put in place by the government to be elected next year and concentrate on the development agenda.
Speaking during a funeral at Chepkemel in Kericho County, Father Rev. Ambrose Kimutai of Tegat Catholic Parish, said arguing on which type of economy should be implemented between bottom up and trickle down economy should not be given much concentration.
He said the leaders should only focus on delivering basic needs and development to Kenyans including infrastructure.
Kimutai also called on politicians to avoid fights as the country heads to the next elections, calling on them to present their agenda to Kenyans who will make a decision on whom to elect.
