Several students from St Mary’s Nyamagwa Girls High school were injured Friday after their school bus rolled in Nyambunde, a short distance from the school, in Kisii County.
Form Three students were said to be taking a ride in the new school bus when it was involved in the accident. It is not yet clear how many students were in the bus.
In another incident, several passengers were injured after the bus they were travelling in was involved in a crash in Migaa, near Salgaa, on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway Thursday night.
The Nya Ugenya bus was heading to Nairobi from Bondo when the driver lost control of it before and it rolled.
The injured were taken to Nakuru Level 5 Hospital.
