Kericho leaders have called on the Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI), to dispatch a team to investigate the brutal murder of Cheborgei High School teacher and his wife in Chesingoro, Bureti Sub-County,in Kericho County.
Speaking during the funeral service, the leaders accused officers from Litein police station of playing games, and ignoring evidence on the murder provided to them by residents.
It is alleged that the late Willy Sang and his wife were murdered by three people who were guests at a neighboring church. To this effect, the area leaders have called on the national government to vet churches afresh as some were questionable.
The deceased couple has left behind four children.
