Mercy Masika Muguro…..An award winning gospel musician popularly known for her hits Mwema and Nikupendeze, was involved in a road accident last night along Thika road and is nursing minor injuries.
The gospel artist was riding in her new Toyota, red car,which was rammed from behind at around midnight by a truck. The accident is reportedly said to have been partly caused by poor visibility due to heavy rains at the time of the accident.
She was rushed to Aga Khan Hospital where she underwent treatment for a sprained ankle and discharged shortly after. This morning, Masika confirmed she is fine by posting on Twitter
‘I take this time to say am completely out of danger and without even a scratch from the accident. I serve a living God.’
Masika is adored and loved by many for her songs which have been uplifting from when she first ventured into the gospel music industry.
Fans from all over have taken to social media to wish her a quick recovery.
