The thirst behind next move after Kenya Certificate of primary Education (KCPE) for top performers will be quenched on this Friday as top students are set to receive their calling letters.
The top students in KCPE 2016 will know the national schools they have been selected to join by Friday this week.
Selection for form one had begun immediately shortly after the results for 2016 were released by the Education Cabinets Secretary, Fred matiang’i.
Top Education officials camped at Kenya Pipeline Corporation’s Morendat Training Centre in Naivasha to pick students who will join the coveted Government schools.
“The officers have been here since Monday and selection for the national schools is ongoing,” said one of the officials.
The process will be completed by Friday, when Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i is expected to officially launch selections for the other categories in Nairobi.
“The group has been involved in selecting students for the national schools. The main event will be in Nairobi on Friday,” said the officer.
