Panic has again gripped a breast cancer patient who thought she had been healed from the dreaded non communicable disease after chemotherapy.
Askah Nyaboke Moimbo from Kenyenya was worried that the cancerous wound on one of her breasts had re-opened a fresh prompting urgent medical care.
Narrating her ordeal to the media,the 61 year old mother disclosed the disease’s symptoms became conspicuous four years ago.
When visiting several hospitals for medication, she could be turned away to raise funds for 18 chemotherapy sessions which the family could not afford.
Her condition was further complicated after she had missed the sessions and drugs for three months.
Besides an unsettled hospital bill of sh.3,million at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital ,Nyaboke required sh. 150,000 per single chemotherapy session.
Nyaboke appealed for help from the government, humanitarian organizations and well-wishers to resume her palliative healthcare.

Samson Moimbo,the husband cum peasant farmer, lamented over the family’s inability to afford the medication disclosing it had exhausted its meager resources.
According to Moimbo,the family was poor and could not access medication at some health facilities which demanded immediate payment.
