In a significant step towards enhancing service delivery and bolstering security, President William Ruto officially opened the Turbo Sub-County Headquarters in Uasin Gishu County.
Speaking during the launch the President called for unity in the country citing that it will go a long way in transforming the nation.
“We can only move forward when we are united as a country. Falsehoods and propaganda will not slow our commitment to transforming Kenya,” President Ruto said.
Deputy President Prof.Kithure Kindiki who was in attendance, emphasized government’s commitment to operationalizing gazetted administrative units and establishing new ones to ensure the effective service delivery.
“The Government will operationalise all gazetted administrative units and establish new ones to bolster security, ensure effective delivery of citizen facing services such as issuance of identification and immigration documents, registration of births and deaths, land administration, children services and protection of vulnerable people in the society,” stated DP Kindiki.
The Turbo Sub-County Headquarters is strategically positioned to provide residents with improved access to government services, enhancing efficiency and reducing the need for long-distance travel.
“Delivering quality, efficient, and timely services to the people remains a pertinent deliverable in the Kenya Kwanza Administration’s transformative agenda,” added the DP.
The launch of the Turbo Sub-County Headquarters is a testament to the Kenya Kwanza Administration’s dedication to decentralizing services and empowering communities.
It marks a new chapter in the region’s development, ensuring that all citizens receive the support and services they need to thrive.
