The joint operation involved detectives from the Transnational Organized Crime and Anti-Narcotics units, supported by officers from Mutarakwa Police Post in Limuru sub-county.

Acting on actionable intelligence, the officers intercepted a white Toyota Noah, registration number KCX 728Q, which was being driven by 37-year-old Minja Jimmy.
