UDA Leaders Call On Their Supporters To Vote UDA Six Piece.

Kenya Kwanza Presidential Candidate William Samoe Ruto and his running mate Rigathi Gachagua Sunday locked out independent Candidate in South rift by calling on their supporters to vote UDA six piece in the coming 9th August general elections.

The UDA leaders urged their supporters to vote six piece suit and ensure that they have enough support in Parliament, Senate and County Assemblies across the country to enable them to transact government business.

Ruto while addressing a mammoth rally at Kapkatet in Kericho said that he needed as many leaders as possible under UDA to give strength to form the next government.

“We in Central Kenya have decided that we will vote in six piece and no independent Candidate in our region, here in South rift you want to tell us you will vote in independent Candidates in some positions yet your son need your support than never before to capture the presidency,” Gachagua posed when he spoke.

The declaration has dwindled  hope of many political  independent Candidature in South rift, others who will suffer the same fate are leaders who are allied to Bomet first governor Isaac Ruto on Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM).

The move has also strengthened the support for Bomet Governor Prof. Hilary Barchok (UDA) who will face it off with Isaac Ruto (CCM) on 9th August 2022.

 

The Kapkatet  rally  was attended by among others Ndindi Nyoro, Kiharu MP, Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Watangula,  Kimani Ichungwa, Oscar Sudi, Kindiki Kithure, Speaker of the National Assembly Justin  Muturi, Senator Aaron Cheruiyot, Kipchumba Murkomen,  governor aspirant Kericho  Dr. Eric Mutai, Governor Samuel Tunai, Narok,  Women rep’ Kericho  Beatric Kemei, Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago, nominated Legislator from Narok David ole Sankok and Senator Samson Cherargei among others.

The Deputy President William Ruto said that should he win the presidency he will inject over Sh 200 million in agriculture and agribusiness, agroprocessing, value addition to spur growth and have more food on the table and surplus for sale.

Others who spoke at the rally were Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetangula who hit out on the Azimio leader Raila Odinga saying that UDA will win the next coming elections with a big margin.
