A 22-year-old Multimedia University student in Nairobi’s Shauri Moyo estate has committed suicide
This happens two weeks after he was sent home over tuition fee.
Fredrick Kinyanjui, 22,a second-year student was found hanging from the rooftop of his parent’s house Tuesday, June 6 night.
Confirming the incident, Buruburu OCPD, Geoffrey Mayiek, said that it is not yet clear why the student decided to take his life as he did not leave behind any suicide note.
Mother to the deceased has said that her son had indeed been sent away from the institution of higher learning because of tuition fees but she did not know exactly why he killed himself.
