Students from University of Nairobi Lower Kabete Wednesday held demonstrations outside the accidents and emergency section in Kenyatta Hospital opposing the death of one of their own.
Slightly after the onset of registrars’ strike at KNH, students from the University of Nairobi took the centre stage creating some confusion in the facility.
The students made allegations that one of their Bachelor of Commerce students had passed on in the facility due to negligence by the doctors after they failed to perform a brain surgery on him.
The chaotic situation nonetheless did not last long as police dispersed them and the already gathered crowd. Some journalists including our very own unfortunately found themselves on the wrong side.
All in all, normal functioning of the biggest referral facility in East and Central Africa is still being experienced despite its situation getting cryptic with every sunshine.
