USE VILLAGE BARAZAS TO SOLVE LAND DISPUTES- OPARANYA SAYS

Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya has visited the 92 people who were displaced after their houses were torched in Mutonyi village, Mala Sub County and distributed food stuffs and money to them.

The governor who was accompanied by other leaders, directed both the national and County government administrators to intervene and ensure that all the children who had dropped out of school after they were rendered homeless resume learning.

He condemned the incident adding that it was wrong for villagers to take law into their hands to evict and burn houses of their neighbors following disputes.
