Ruiru MCA Says Waititu Should Honor The Court And Step Aside

By Chris Sambu

Ruiru Biashara Ward MCA Elijah Njoroge has reacted on what Governor Waititu said when the court barred him from entering his office.

Njoroge said that Waititu should honour the court by stepping aside for he may interfere with the witness, adding that the Deputy Governor is not the governor but he is just acting in the Governor’s capacity.

This comes after Waititu condemned his Deputy James Nyoro for politically taking advantage of the court order. Waititu was speaking when he inspected the ongoing Kiambu County constructions in Kabete.

Waititu is back in court today seeking to vary the court order barring him from accessing his offices in which the Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji has opposed the application, stating that the Kiambu Governor should stay away from the office as directed by trial Magistrate Lawrence Mugambi.
