Eight police officers died in Al Shabaab terror attack in Wajir on Friday.
The attack occurred at about 4pm at Konton centre. Police sources confirmed that 13 officers in a land cruiser drove over an Improvised Explosive Devise. Eight died on the spot.
Two sustained injuries while three are missing. Unconfirmed reports indicate that they were kidnapped by the attackers.
