Lamu Senator Abu Chiaba has praised Governor Issa Timamy and Lamu East MP Shariff Athman for joining Jubilee, adding it was long overdue.
The two were in UDF. Chiaba on Tuesday said the move is a clear indication county leaders are willing to work together.
He urged other leaders to join Jubilee because “it is focussed on development and improving residents’ lives.”
“My greatest pleasure is to see all leaders come together and become one. If the leaders are united, then obviously the citizens too will be united. Those who still haven’t made up their minds will not regret choosing and joining Jubilee.We welcome on board Lamu governor and the MP and let them know that they will never regret joining us,”said Chiaba.
He said Lamu will get goodies from the national government as more and more leaders join Jubilee.
