Jubilee presidential aspirant and president of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta has urged the candidates who lost to accept defeat and work with the winners.
Speaking at State House, Uhuru assured them that the party is big and it will accommodate everyone once re-elected as the president for his second term.
“The support for Jubilee is overwhelming across the country,” the president said.
The president further went down to cool the heat of disputes noting that those who do not accept defeat will be allowed to lodge a complaint with the Appeals Tribunal through the laid down procedures.
“I wish to confirm the position of the party that once counting is finished, results tallied and announced by the returning officers, those results stay until and unless someone formally lodges a complaint with The Appeals Tribunal through the laid down procedures.
