The next big thing in the gospel industry after the Gospel Hiphop duo Kelele Takatifu…..Meet Cliché All Day.The newest Gospel Afro Hiphop group whose musical journey is just beginning.
Arthur Busu(Koezzy),Jackson Nzau(Newborn) and Peris Miricho(Twist) have been great friends since childhood.They would hang out and free style like many kids do.It is in this friendship,that they were able to identify their talents and motivated each other in nurturing them.
In 2012, the three realized that their common passion for music and desire to perform could lead to the creation of something beautiful thus the birth of the popularly known Cliché All Day. They ventured into gospel music and since then there has no been turning back.
The stage name,Cliché.which has attracted phenomenal attention across Kenya was an idea from Koezzy, a title he says was revealed to him by God.
While negative peer pressure and drug abuse seems to affect most of the youth in our society today,the gospel trio has managed to stand strong together thus setting an exemplary example to many teenagers and youth globally.
In an exclusive interview,Koezzy said that knowing God’s purpose in their lives and in their friendship motivates them to stay united in their music career.
The gospel trio has done quite a number of songs but have only released three of them namely,Gucci,All About You that saw them win Mashujaa Awards,Band of the Year 2015 and the latest hit Vasaa which many Kenyans have described as music out of this world due to its dope quality.
And this year,Cliché celebrates yet another achievement in their music career.The Groove Award Nomination as the New Group of the Year, an indication that they are going places as far as Gospel Music is concerned.
Five years from now,Cliché All Day hopes to present East Africa in international platforms,taking Kenyan Gospel to the next wow level and also motivate the youth to lead a righteous life through Bible Study Programmes which they currently working on.
