An American NGO, Can Do Kids in collaboration with Engineer Karanja Mburu Wamatangi have invested in polytechnics around Kiharu in Murang’a County with an aim to equip youths with technical skills.
The organization has offered computers and training equipment worth Ksh800,000 at Karuru Polytechnic in Mugoiri, some including welding machines, carpentry, hairdressing and tailoring machines.
According to Wamatangi, the NGO has conducted a 3 day training to students where Rachael Nelson one of the American has trained students on manufacturing pure natural skin oils made from natural resources.
