Business was brought to stand still around Jumuia Hotel in Kisumu after rowdy youths disrupted what is believed to have women meetings over claims that it was a plan to buy Identity Cards(ID) ahead of Oct. 17 presidential re-run.
Several women were injured during the scuffle.
A section of NASA coalition Members of Parliament, on Tuesday, said that Jubilee Party was buying IDs at the opposition strongholds.
According to the claims, the rate was ranging at Ksh1,000 to Ksh5,000, an amount they believed that the ID holders could be tempted to sell their IDS.
