Commonly known to many as YY, the Churchill Comedian Oliver Otieno, has called his time off at the famous TV show under the management of “Mwalimu” Ndambuki King’angi, Churchill Show.
The talented comedian, and a Kenyatta University Student says that he reached at that conclusion after his scenes were “deliberately” omitted in the edited one-hour programme.
The Comedian, YY, went on to declare his decision that caught many fans off-guard creating moods of confusion when he wrote on his timeline;
“It was nice being on Churchill Show. I loved it and appreciated but #I Quit. Why? My talent is too strong to be killed by computer desktops; my God is more powerful too…No pleasing human in good faith #Godspeed.”
But YY remained coy to answering fans questions when they dug deep to establish whether it was as a result of of “mis-understanding” or “pay” issues.
“My brother YY, I am one of your biggest fans, kwani what happened? We miss you big why lie!” Mr Tero on Twitter.
Comedian YY was famed for unique and effortless jokes that, time and again, left his audience in long teary laughter. He joined Churchill Show in 2013 after making it through his first audition.
Others, however went on and wished him all the best, advising him to positively make use of is name since he has branded himself already.
“You were given a platform on Churchill. now you have a brand name go out there and fly you got wings now. at least your slot will be given to upcoming comedian. don’t limit yourself. siku za kishikwa mkono are over…………………. man up and build your legacy,” Commented Mwany Niki on his timeline post.
