The government will extend the midterm break to primary schools from next term. This is according to Education CS Amina Mohamed who was addressing primary school head teachers’ conference in Mombasa. Amina said that the move is aimed at giving children and teacher’s ample time to rest and re-energize.
The conference was supposed to be officially opened by the head of state today but was instead opened by the education cs.
